Homage
The act of homage could be 1) the ceremony during which a man, kneeling, gave his joined hands to be clasped by his lord and undertook to serve the lord, 2) any act in which a vassal fulfills his obligations to his lord, or 3) the tenants of a manor who assembled in the Court-baron.
